Although to be fair, I vaguely remember half the population of OD being permabanned, and some of them were much more fun than these nubs. And yet they haven't come back.

Also, it turns out Spore Heaven has finally been archived. That place was pretty awesome, once.

It's rather odd to see the dying groans of a gathering place I once frequented. Like returning home on holiday and finding that your siblings have all died and your parents have advanced dementia. I guess we all have to go sometime...

I was feeling nostalgic the other day so I took a round of all the heavens I used to frequent, and they're all dead.

Indeed, I was also a little taken aback that SpH was archived before us as it used to boast more activity than this heaven, if I recall correctly.

Most of the heavens I visited have also been reduced to a mere shadow of their former glory. Well, at least the Pony is still breathing, though somewhat faintly...

Is HG in general just failing to attract the forumers that it used to, or is there some super-active sections that I dont know of?

This place is a shadow of its former self, and we are but echos on the wind. But Spore Heaven was a disgrace. The Homeworld I was awesome. Homeworld II... horrible.

HG has been slowly dying for years, to be honest.

I remember when it was huge and extremely active. Those were the days, mafia games actually were completed in a week or two! :P

It hasn't been dying. It just went into a state of hibernation. And the Winter is out and the ice is thawing.

Yes. The top has been lifted. We're pushing for a re-invention.

haha HG is like a pre-teen trying to find themselves.

Most of the heavens are husks compared to what they were. I don't think a website can recover from that.

We've had a serious overhaul at the top, so that should help a hell of a lot, though.
