And it would add to the Angmar spirit as well. We do need snowflakes.

Heck to the darkness

SPOILER METHINKS

Simple HTML tricks I suppose, if you look carfully they are just asterisks of different colours, swaying from side to side then disappearing. Hope that didn't ruin it for you

Yeah, but that isn't all HTML.

What are you suggesting? It is a very simple, yet effective illusion of snowflakes . You might be able to find something similar on google.

The snowflakes are an example of JavaScript. It's a programming language that allows animation (and a whole load more) in webpages.

Yep, all of the snowflakes are asterisks. Each asterisk is moved across the page using JavaScript.

I looked at the source. Looks nice. Oh...... For Christmas, we could make really small "Merry Christmas" floating down the page.
posted 12-09-06 06:09 PM EDT (US)     20 / 33
I'm not staff here but I'd rather not have anything saying Merry Christmas as it's best to keep the theme to a general happy holidays theme for those who don't celebrate Christmas.

I like the snowflake theme . Although it would get rather annoying after a week .

Quoted from Scrat Master:

Go Alex!

Thats an example of a +1 post

I hate to go against staff, but can I appeal that? Generality isn't diversity, it's tasteless and anti-diverse. If somebody said Happy Ramadan a little while ago, or Happy Hanakkuh now, far from offended, I would be pleased even though I am Christian.
