These are the main warriors of Mordor. They can be used for many different aspects, such as harassing, defending, or simply as meatshield. Orcs get a leadership bonus if their are in groups of more than 100, which makes them really stronger in bigger armies. Orcs can eat eachother to gain experience, and can also be transported into slaughterhouses to turn them into resources.

Orc Archers are the main archer unit of Mordor. They aren’t strong by themselves but handle out alot damage when supported by Orc Warriors. Their best use is taking out spiders and other infantry.

The Easterlings are the pikemen of Mordor. They can use the porcupine formation and are extremely effective versus cavalry. When upgraded, they form the backbone of the Mordor army.

Available from Level 2 Haradrim Palace, the Haradrim are now the elite archers of Mordor. They can be fully upgraded, and are extremely effective for what they do. Their drawback is the high cost. Haradrim come standard on Mumakil too.

Shortcut: C
The Corsairs are high-damage dealing units but with low armor. They can recieve the Forged Blades upgrade but not the Heavy Armor. Their main strength lies in throwing firebombs around, which strike with flaming damage and cast fire on buildings and units.

Shortcut: M
The Troll from BFME1 has returned, but now cheaper and weaker. The Mountain Troll can eat orcs to heal, throw rocks, and pick up trees to slam around with. They are still very strong, but can’t counter a cavalry rush by themselves. Also, swordsmen now are stronger versus Mountain Trolls – a Troll can’t kill anymore as he did before.

The Drummer Troll applies a leadership bonus to all nearby troops. Coming from a level 2 Troll Cage, they are very worth their cost. They can also attack with their drumsticks, and slam their drums like mad to terrorise the enemy.

Available from a Level 3 Troll Cage, the Attack Troll is the strongest anti-infantry unit in the game. He can literally smash up an infinite amount of swordsmen before token down. He has heavy armor, and a big spiked club.

The Mumakil is the strongest monster unit in the game. He can trample troops and rise his speed with his Charge attack. Haradrim are mounted upon the Mumakil to damage nearby troops.

The Battering Ram is a great anti-building unit. When guarded properly, this unit can take out fortresses with ease.

Coming from a level 2 Great Siege Works, this Mordor machinery is cheap and devastating. A couple Catapults should exist in any Mordor army, because of their great strength, and ability to fear away enemy troops with human heads.
imageSiege Tower
Shortcut: none – only available in some missions
The Siege Tower is a giant tower,
pushed forward by 2 Mountain Trolls. They can lock themselves to a wall, allowing troops to climb upon and wreak havoc inside the enemy base.
