The pass could be a lot shorter as well. Right now it's too long, and since it's the only path to the enemy base it's impossible to break through in a real match, making the game to stall.
The mountain pass itself is good, though the lower side has less travelling distance from its base so it's definetely easier for them to rush and reinforce the middle outposts. Also, the northern teams have to kill 8 cave trolls to go through.
The garrisonable towers up in the mountains are a good touch, but the road is too narrow to access them.
The "angled" waterfall on the southwest corner of the map looks beautiful! The combination of several steep waterfalls resulted in a great effect. However the water patch underneath is is exactly at the same height of the ground level, creating an ugly texture glitch (check it out as it's easily fixed).
Map Design: 2.5
The Upper area is a bit plain and empty.
You should definetely place more rocks and vegetation to make the map look more realistic. The mountains are a bit too high. You can still make realistic mountains if you keep them lower, more coerse and textured.
The texturing is ok. However I'm sure you can improve it a lot. Check out EA's maps to see how they do it! :)
From now on, I'll use a 3.5 to rate skirmish maps' story/instructions. Otherwise scripted and story maps have a disadvantage for actually HAVING a story.
Think more of more open maps with room to fight on. Different flanks and entrances to the bases, and more space to breathe in.
Keep working on those textures and elevations, I'm sure you can improve your maps to make them even better :)

I did not notice any bugs, so it's very playable in that sense. The only problem is the map design.
Both teams have the same tactically circumstances. Flanking is impossible :(
It's a nice map. I like the towers placed on the mountain sides, they provided for stragical advantages and look nice.

You need to work on your texture work. The mountains look really nice imo, however the other terrain is somewhat bland and the transition between textures are choppy (there's a tool that can fix that in the worldbuilder). The only really problem with this map, and it's a big one, is the stalling that is an inevitable consequence of only having one passage connecting the two opposing teams.
It's a good first attempt, however I think you should explore features of the world-builder and try to make another map. If you really care to make a really beautiful map, it will take several days, thats a given. Also, if you want to fix the playability of this map, I'd modify the mountain pass, so that there are at least 2 passages.
