This is a map about the Fall of Gondolin.I have made it to be a Elves X Mordor map.
Gondolin was a great elven city a long time ago and Morgoth destroyed it in a very interesting battle.
The map tries to follow the book's description it includes :
======================================
- 7 Balrogs
- Glorfindel
- The city including a lake around it and 2 bridges
- Fortress arent allowed
- Mordor cant build evil humans neither mumakils
!!!IMPORTANT !!!
The rule is :
Players 1 and 3 have to be elves team 1
Players 2 and 4 have to be mordor team 2
That is it. Please give suggestions and coments , i really do need then to make the map better ,specially in balancing it.
Can someonegive some suggetions or make some comments?
I would like to improve the map and it would be better if someone helps me.
Thanks

hi, nice map, but is it possible to do map for one player defence gondolin and then can control two gates? there is one problem: then all balrogs was killed, computer player don't make army - computer didn't build farms but only "warfactory". nice upgrade could be fortress or something like this on top level of gondolin.

I have uploaded a new version , if you download the map again you will see that the current version is the version 9.
This is a multyplayer map , so solo matches arent it's good point but in the version 9 the computer has AI and you can play it solo , it means that computer will build farms and so on.
I am doing a single player version of this map with enemy waves included
So soon we will have two versions, the final single player version and the final multyplayer version.
I hope i can finish both
Thanks for commenting

An very good map with good opportunities. I love the design of Gondolin, reminds me of a painting of it which I have as my background. There are a few problems:
The main gate is glitchy. Even when fully closed things try to get in and out through the sides.
The command-point factor needs to be increased for the 'outside' forces at least. The orcs are so few and thinly stretched I could take them out with just one set of horsemen. The Balrogs ALWAYS attack the main gate for some reason. Even if they start at the north, they go all the way down to the other gate... Not sure why.
Balance: 4
The command point factor means the attacking player is at a severe disadvantage. Even against one brutal army your forces are stretched way to thin to take down the city without frustration. A bigger command point factor, say 4,000, would make things more interesting for both sides. I'd like to have more catapults. XD
Creativity: 4
It's a very good map, design wise, but it needs something. Not sure what. Perhaps more attacking teams, a bit of woodland at the edges maybe.
Map Design: 5
Exquisite map design! I am really impressed! I can only imagine how long this took. But then, I'm still quite new to the World Builder and it takes me ages to do very simple things.
Story/Instructions: 3
A scripted version of this would be ACE. To have waves of attacks you have to prepare for is something I love about sieges. If you do a script for it, give some lines from the Unfinished Tales to Gothmog Lord of Balrogs. Just for us geeks.
But yes, a complicated and difficult siege is what I expect from a Gondolin map.
Additional Comments:
Wonderful work. A few more touches and you'll be onto a winner. :D
