Hello, this is my 4th map, and 1st one since I joined {IP}.
This map is a fortress map with 3 players, the area is northern mordor, on the mountain slopes.
It was built by gondorians at the end of the 2nd age.
In this map, the attacking players can choose 1 ally out of 3, to not reveal anymore, you will see it ingame.
Anyways, the map requires Rotwk, got AI working (AI selects an alliance too), ringheroes work.
It works both in skirmish and MP.
thats it basicly, hope you enjoy,
{IP}MajorDima
Update:
Added some trees\rocks ect to the outside fort area, changed some stuff on the ramps to make it look better.
Version 1.1 is uploaded. |

Nice map. Well textured. Fun to play against a brutal defender. |

Thanks for the review, this isnt the final version of the map, and I was also thinking about how the ramps looked like (the lower 2). about the mountains, its a must, because I want it to be authentic to the map story\lore.
EDIT:
Ok, I listened to your advice, new version is uploaded, if anyone has comments or wants to see things changed or added let me know.[Edited on 08/12/07 @ 05:23 AM]

Haven't played the map extensively enough to post review but it's well textured (you were evidently inspired by EA Minas Morgul) and most of the objects are elegantly placed. There could be some improvements on ramps and also one of the gates is opening reversely. I've also noticed that you pre-placed some units outside the map. This isn't necessary, you could spawn them via scripts when it's needed so they don't consume pc power for nothing. Besides this, this map is more than worthy of IP mapper, good job ;) |

First you must show hidden files through your control panel.
Then go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\My The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king Files\Maps
this is the default location for Rise of the Witch King, put the folder there. |

Thanks Majordima. You have a lot of talent with maps and i have some cool ideas for you to toy with.
Example-Tharbad. The fort was built as an important trade center between arnor and gondor. like Osgilith it has a river running down the middle, the greyflood. The Great Royal Road passes straight through it across the Tharbad bridge. It was ironicly destroyed by a flood(grey-flood).
Example2-Aldburg. A small fortified city in Rohan, built by Eorl the Young in the region known as the Folde, some miles to the southeast of Edoras.
Example3-Pelegir, saddly not carried over from bfme1.
Example4-Goblin Town. A goblin (or orc) dwelling which lay under the High Pass in the Misty Mountains, ruled by the Great Goblin. It was a series of tunnels and caverns, which led all the way through the mountains, with a "back door" near the Eagles' eyrie in Wilderland.[Edited on 08/18/07 @ 09:58 PM]

Hello Majordima,
This map is really awesome. Is it okay for me to convert your map to Edain Mod and make it in to a custom mission map? |
