After the battle of Last Stand, Arnor pushed back the enemy until they came apon a snowy valley near Fornost. After entering the valley they were ambushed. Now it is time for Arnor to Strike Back!
Playability: 5
(Some pathing issues near the gates. For some reason whilst defending the gate some troops or heroes go towards the gate as if the gate is open but stop. Not sure what causes that, and those I've known who use World Builder have had troubles like that before too, so I gave this a 5. Other than that, just fantastic!)
Balance: 5
(Doesn't matter what side you're on, you get good stuff all around. Besides that, Rogash is a little tougher than the others but hey, he's a troll, he should be.)
Creativity: 5
(Reply value is very high. Great idea, implemented very well.)
Map Design: 5
(Same as above. Great all 'round.)
Story/Instructions: 5
(Really matches what Arnor would be like, snow and the collapsible tower in the center and the hills where I can place battle towers and fill them with Mirkwood Archers set to auto acquire.)
Additional Comments:
Just a really great map. I've enjoyed this map over 50 times (probably greatly more than that) and it really hasn't gotten old, after all those times. It's become a tradition to play that map every Thursday night (religiously) within my small J.R.R. Tolkien circle. I've enjoyed it since its release. I'd love to see more out there like this. I've seen a lot of really great maps here, but very few I can say that I've made a tradition out of.
