This is a huge update of my old map DEFINITION OF MADNESS FINAL and is supposed to be a 4 player tw map for bfme2 v1.06, which can also be played as a 2 player map.
The rules are the same: There are no rest timers, no income for beating waves and the next wave will come before you have passed the current wave. One may say the map is a hardcore. All factions have at least 1 way to gain money and you do not have to pick certain factions. There are many edits for all factions and all heroes are useful in some way. Furthermore, there are 2 special inn units.
Extract the zip archive into your map folder, the path might be:
C:\Users\ReplaceWithYourUsername\AppData\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth(tm) II Files\Maps


Special thanks to Gannicus for making great tw maps and for allowing me to use the ini and str file of madness unleashed, which define the so called madness tower wars and contain most of the edits and descriptions.


One of the inn unit is based on the rock golem from the map legends by Crusard.


Thanks to Guerrilla for adding the new button icons, fire and smoke for signal fire and isengard outpost and also a few other things.


Thanks to Ecthelion for making the battle wagon not pushing units around anymore.


Thanks to Elendil, GROoOoOT, Guerrilla and especially Gurte for testing V2 over and over again with me, making sure that all factions can pass all waves, while having a hard time in certain waves.


IT IS IMPORTANT TO RESTART YOUR GAME AFTER PLAYING THIS MAP. It is always a good idea to restart your game after playing a custom map which comes with ini changes because the game might keep some of them.

As always for tw sharx and gannicus maps are the best, hard and fun to play.
Madness is a trend. You can't ignore it

Can be a very hard map to play but there's allot of games on youtube to see how each faction can be played. 6 factions to play front or back spot means the map can be played again and again.

Balance: 4
This is the most difficult thing about making a tower war, huge effort went into balacing with all combinations of armies being able to beat the map.

Creativity: 5
Madness always gets 5/5 for creativity.

Map Design: 5
One of the best tower war designs there is.

Additional Comments:
Sharx and Gannicus, the strongest and the maddest.
