Captain Faramir leads a daring mission to disrupt the flow of Mordor forces passing through the Black Gate. The timing of the attack coincides with the construction of Sauron's monument facing the lands of the free peoples. Is this mere coincidence, or is something more sinister at work here?
Command Faramir and his forces at The Black Gate and prevent Sauron's allies reaching Mordor. Bonus objectives grant rewards, making the battle a little easier and more fun.
This is my second map, following "The Battle for the Ring". If your PC struggles with large groups of units you might want to lower the settings down during this mission.
Top player must be Mordor AI (Hard/Brutal), bottom player must be Men.
Also I tried making a quality mini-map but for some reason it kept showing up as a pink square so I gave up!
Have fun, please leave comments for possible tweaks, improvements, or if you enjoyed the map.
I mean... you can stockpile your army and resources, and you can use your custom hero, so...
Story dialogue was a nice touch. A very well put together map.
Map Design: 4
There was that one section of the map with the independent troll/goblins that didn't attack you. Other than that, I rather liked the design. Outposts for resources, and ruined towers to defend against the hordes.
Pretty clear, although I did feel like some of the camera cuts were confusing.
Another job well done. A rather unique experience that I found rather enjoyable to play.
