PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let PJ make The Hobbit!
I'd still go to see it if it wasn't made by him, but probably only once (compared to the six times I saw TTT in theatres).
It'd be a whole lot worse if PJ didn't make it.

Forget it. A dramatization of The Hobbit would be catastrophic. They can't capture the essence of fairy story and keep the *epic feel* that fans enjoyed in the LotR movie trilogy.

"PJ would pull it off"? And that's that? I judge from the movies he's made, namely the movie trilogy, King Kong, and a series of short Halo films. None of those are in any way similar to the feel of The Hobbit. Therefore, there is absolutely no evidence that he would know how to go about it.

That's another point I was going to bring it up. There's a good chance he won't even be able to direct it; seeing as he'll lose the rights once again fairly soon I think.
