The Tolkein language list

http://www.geocities.com/athens/parthenon/9902/langinfo.html
Here is a short list of some things to help people learn Tolkien's languages, mainly Quenya and Sindarin, since so many people ask. They are all hopefully still available, mostly on the net, and either inexpensive or free.

http://www.grey-company.org/Circle/language/intro.htm
Below you will find simple grammatical rules and word lists for use in creating elven phrases. Much effort has been put into making the process as simple as possible. A section on elven roleplay may also be found after the word list. The Grey Company's Elven is a growing language based 'loosely' on the elven found throughout JRR Tolkiens works. As we strive to nurture its growth, all input is encouraged and appreciated.

Is it just the one link or editing anything that causes your computer to crash?

It seems random, when I copy some bodies of text into the thread, it crashes, and for other ones, it doesnt, weird.

I want to find out information about Tolkien, if it's not too much problem! When was he born, and in what area of Great Britain did he grow to adulthood? Why did he write his Lord-of-the-Rings books? Were they based on the religious text, the Bible?

I'm replying in this thread because it isn't expired.

Could I write a Lore article? I just don't know what to write about. Can I have some suggestions?

Terribly sorry about the incredible lateness of this.

If you still want to write a Lore article, please do. Although you should write on whatever interests you, something like The Quest of Erebor would be good.
