The Tolkein language list

http://www.geocities.com/athens/parthenon/9902/langinfo.html
Here is a short list of some things to help people learn Tolkien's languages, mainly Quenya and Sindarin, since so many people ask. They are all hopefully still available, mostly on the net, and either inexpensive or free.

http://www.grey-company.org/Circle/language/intro.htm
Below you will find simple grammatical rules and word lists for use in creating elven phrases. Much effort has been put into making the process as simple as possible. A section on elven roleplay may also be found after the word list. The Grey Company's Elven is a growing language based 'loosely' on the elven found throughout JRR Tolkiens works. As we strive to nurture its growth, all input is encouraged and appreciated.

http://www.phy.duke.edu/~trenk/elvish/

So, guys, if you could all add links to places that are not listed here, but will be helpful, we can make this the Tolkein resource!

As more links are added i will create more subcategories in the topic, E.g, Maps, and indiviual book sites, E.g, The silmarillion sites, etc.

Awesome! Very nicely done, and a good collection!
You can create the categories and a site can be placed in more than one category ofcourse. For example, the Encyclopedia of Arda has a nice chronology itself, so it can be listed under the Chronology section too.
Worthy of the Sticky!

Will do

Updated: Added a new 'Maps and Illustrations' section, along with a few more links.

Oh, and also, can someone change the spelling of 'Tolkien' in the title, to the way that I have just spelt it, not 'Tolkein', thanks.
