How exactly could I make a spiderling bright neon yellow for a special map?

Do you want to alter its skin or its FX?

It's up to you. Skin is actually what the spider looks like. FX is a special effect. Lemme research this...

It would be easier to do FX, as if you reskin, you'd have to add an extra file. FX is hard to learn, but it's the best skill to have. The only drawback is that the spiders won't be yellow, but they'd have a yellow effect.

That's exactly what I said. I don't really understand what JBV did to make the golden spiders in WoR, but I don't know. Reskin would be easier, I guess.

Next, edit it to make it yellow looking. I'd recommend colorizing.

lol ancalagon u dont hav to edit any textures.....a reskin in a single map means swapping textures around, basically look in ini.......but if u want ur spiderlings to be yellow for everysingle map in ur game then u hav to edit the texture file

look for randomtextures in the draw modules or look at costume modules triggered by upgrades(eg gandi teh white)
