I always liked the Dwarven Demolishers as they are SO powerful, can have armour upgrades, be put into a special stance where they take less damage and run folk over en route to the opposing Fortress Although, i am Men of the West a lot of the time so the trebuchet with fire stone upgrade works a treat. I find the Crossbow thingy for Isengard terrible to use but also terrible to face. It hits a lot of units causin disruption but not much damage. However, it sucks against buildings - but i suppose Isengard have other means of demolition. ^^ For Elves, the Ents are good enough for their durability on the battlefield, melée or distanced siege unit. Unfortunately, when confronted with any sort of fired object, they drop like flies! Mordor's primary siege unit is the catapult, which hurtles flamed balls or skulls. The accuracy of this unit is questionable but for the price of 300, YES 300, this is an awesome addition to the Mordor building assault team. Goblins have the Mountain trolls, which like the Ents, can be used as melée or ranged attack units. I like Mountain Trolls but are easily felled by a few arrows. Finally, Angmar. Like MoTW, have a trebuchet based unit which can be upgraded to increase the damage capacity. Cheap units for 600 and effective. When i have more time, i may make a guide for Siege Units, unless of course there is one already in circulation. Would appriciate any comments, and happy gaming. EDIT: These are RANGED siege units (apart from the Dwarven Demolisher), i am aware of other units. [This message has been edited by BritishBulldog (edited 04-14-2007 @ 07:48 AM).]
