I was thinking of running a zombie game with d20 settings. Basically, you'd play a survivor during the zombie apocalypse. The setting would be in Phoenix, Arizona, because this area is much much much easier for me to map. Namely, the game will take place in a the suburb areas of Gilbert/Mesa/Chandler, as these areas are not too far from where I actually live.
However, before I go through the trouble of turning a map of several very large suburbs of Phoenix into an easily read, color-coded map in Paint (something that would take maybe a week or so to do), I'd like to see who exactly is all interested. I'm looking for a core group of maybe ten players, but more or less is certainly doable.
Thus, if you are interested in playing, please post your email.

Some basic differences from standard d20:
There are thirteen classes. For the time being, you will not be informed as to what they are, as your class will be determined by your occupation.
The basis for skills that I used was D&D 3.5E, with some modifications. I took out three skills and replaced about six or seven others. I also used D&D 3.5E for a basis on feats, which was more heavily modified.
Leveling is probably the biggest step away from d20 that we will be taking. First of all, there are no class features. Each class has five skills, which receive a bonus of 1 per level. Next, every four levels, a player’s base attack bonus, base fortitude save, and base reflex save will increase by 1. Every level, a player will gain their CON bonus to their health, but not an additional dice roll.
Will save has been removed, as has magic in all forms.
I'm using the six primary abilities Strength (STR), Dexterity (DEX), Constitution (CON), Intelligence (INT), Wisdom (WIS), and Charisma (CHA). Here's what they all do:
Strength: This determines how accurately and how hard you hit with melee weapons. It also determines how well you can deal with recoil on guns. Further, it is important for making grapple checks, and is important for the Climb, Jump, and Swim skills.
Dexterity: This determines how well you can avoid being hit, providing an Armor Class bonus. It also determines your accuracy with ranged weapons and guns. Further, it is important for reflex saves and the Balance, Drive, Escape Artist, Hide, Move Silently, Open Lock, Slight of Hand, Tumble, and Use Tool skills.
Constitution: This only determines health bonuses every level and fortitude saves.
Intelligence: This determines how many skill points you will get each level, how many bonus languages you will start with, and is important for the Craft, Disable Device, Forgery, Knowledge, and Search skills.
Wisdom: This is important for the Heal, Leadership, Listen, Sense Motive, Spot, and Survival skills.
Charisma: This is important for the Bluff, Diplomacy, Disguise, Gather Information, Handle Animal, Intimidate, and Perform skills.
