1 v 1 on Cair Andros
Danno527 vs. DNLJCKO
Danno527
Build Order: Farm >>> Barracks >>> Farm >>> 2 battalions of Gondor Soldiers (1 was queued) >>> Farm
Powers: Rallying Call >>> Tom Bombadil
Pros:
[+] Built first battalions quickly for a fast rush.
[+] You alo did a good job of keeping the pressure on early.
[+] Got knights out quickly after seeign archers. Did a good job of countering most everything he sent at you in general.
[+] You used your powers shortly after their timers were up instead of letting them sit there doing nothing.
[+] Once you killed his fortress he lost all semblance of map control and was not able to use his powers. It seemed that his whole side of the map had drastically shrunk and seemed like it had no center, or strongpoint.
Averages:
[=]You used rallying call to quickly kill one of his farms. This definitely hurt his economy a little bit early on though it would have been more benficial to have killed his barracks.
[=]Purchased Theoden, then Faramir. I would have made Faramir or Boromir first then possibly consider Theoden. Faramir would have benefitted you much more over the course of the game due to his versatility. Theoden is just to weak to be worth his cost early game. Purchased Boromir way to late. He can help immensely with your rush due to his Horn of Gondor.
[=]Should have made more tower guards to combat his knights.
Cons:
[-] Multiple times you had resources just sitting there doing nothing! Your resources are not benefitting you sitting their in the bank doing nothing. This isn't real life, they don't collect interest.
[-] You could have made more resource buildings with your excess resources.
[-] When he first opushed back your rush with his knights you forgot to reset your rallying point so you lost a whole battalion of Gondor Soldiers. Never, ever, ever waste the lives of your troops or resources. He could have captured a signal fire or two for you instead of committing suicide.
[-] Did not use stances!
Suggestions:
Could/Should have capured signal fires. Would have given you enough of an edge to make a noticable difference.
Should have used your resources more instead of letting them sit there. I cannot emphasize this point enough. Only save up resources if you have enough for upgrades, expensive military production buildings, etc.
Don't make Theoden next time, go with Boromir of Faramir. I know Theoden has leadership but so does Faramir.
Go for the barracks next time over the resource building (unless it is a good distance behind the fortress).
Use stances next time. They help you a lot more than you think.
Overall Thoughts:
Good rush.
Good countering (most of the time, a few more tower guards would have helped).
Used powers effectively and when they were needed.
Hero purchasing order was meh. Could have done better.
You let your resources sit there a few too many times (I am not counting the time you were saving up for a stable or some knights)
Rembember to reset your rallying points and conserve troops. Never send them to their death! There are no exceptions here!
Overall Score:
7/10. A good game that you played fairly well with only a few mistakes.

"Whatever happened, BFME2H did it better. No Exceptions." - EnemyofJupitor
