Overview:[ /color]
<A good game between two very good players.
Elves started with Lorien spam to mirkwoods and pikes, and Dwarves sp
ammed pikes the whole game, unless he had the 2 inns, then he spammed pikes and
men of dale. The tide turned a lot, and really, until the final ten minutes, you didn’
t know who
would win. Powers were used very nicely, and it is adamant that these
players are competitive pros. >

Build Order: Mallorn Tree – Mallorn Tree – Barracks – Mallorn Tree – Lorien Warriors – Mallorn Tree – Mallorn Tree – Mallorn Tree
Power Point Path: Rally Call – Arrow Volley – Summon Eagles – Farsight – Tom Bombadil – Summon Ents
<This was a
good game played by you, your stances were very good, and your use of
the eagle summon was game saving for you. One thing that could have he
lped you in the later game, was building something mor
e to counter
his spears. In the late game, there were no guardians, and the mass of p
ikes seemed unnecessary to me. If you felt that you were required to continue building the pikes, then you could have at least upgr
aded their a
rmor, because they can’t really stand up to dwarven phalanxes.
You never stopped harassing, and it was good that you destroyed th
e inns before you captured them. Also, your expansion was good. The
only other thing that could use work is either ents in the late game, upgrades for the troops, or more heros. Good job.>
Tips for Improvement

Don’t forget about your cavalry, and let them charge right into a pike wall.

Seige, upgrades, or more heroes in the end.

You had such an upper hand late, you could have expanded across the river.

Try not to throw away Glorfindel so easally.

Build Order:
Mine – Hall of Warriors – Pikes – Forward Mine – Capture Inn – Men of Dale - Mine
Power Point Path:
Rally Call – Men of Dale Summon – Barrage – Summon Hobbits
<With the type of units that you had, you probably could have wo
n in the early game. This game was all about the upper hand early, and you just didn’t have it. While the battles were either
on the river, or on your side of it, you never really made i
t to his base, without being promptly destroyed. Also, what confused me, with the level that you guys were playing at, you should have accually had an economy in the middle game.
You never really replaced your mines, so you lost because you just couldn’t spam units quickly enough.>
Tips for Improvement

Replace your economy.

Think about unit choices (Upgrade the archers, axe throwers, just something less predictable)

When you attack with a large force, split it into two different directions. That way, you can attack two things at the same time. Remember, Dwarves > Elves in 1 on 1 combat.

A battle wagon or two might have scared him to be less aggressive.

Overall Rating: 6
Why the rating? This game can’t be excellent, since mistakes by both sides weren’t as
minor as the rating warrants, however, it was well played.
