1. Middle-earth, sorry, but I had to.

2. My favorite hero... that's a tough one. I would say it's a tie between Beleg, Fingolfin, and Feanor.

I have a few, I like Beren and Luthien, Elwing and her sons Elrond and Elros,Glorfindel and I will agree with you Ainur76, Gandalf plays a nifty role as a hero too.

Not so much a hero, as he is a villain but my super favourite is Lurtz!

I suppose he is a hero if you was evil.

Oh, I would definitely say Gimli. Although they made him such an idiot in the movies. He was some kind of comic fool.

In the books he was the brave warrior who took on anything(Except the Ents, of course
