I would like to reinstate this, so someone will post a tip here and then we can put it up as our tip of the week. My (pathetic) offering. If your ents are on fire, or there is an oil spill, put it out with your builder's water power.

Always remember to flank with cavalry. A correctly executed cavalry flank will most likely turn the tide of battle.

Put your cavalry on agressive stance to maximize their damage.

When moving from point A to point B, put your units on defensive stance if you don't plan on encountering anything hostile. This way, if you are ambushed, your units will receive less damage.

Put your units into defensive stance before they are hit by cavalry, they will take far less damage.

If your hero is low on health, and you want it to attack something, tell the hero to move next to it instead of attack it. This way, while your hero is moving towards the target, he can heal.

When you are forming a battle line, put cavalry in the back line, not in the front. When you are in battle, use them to flank your opponement or to breach his front line(when all the enemy pikes are dead). If you can reach your opponement's archers, he is deafeted.

Put your cav. in defensive so they take less revenge damage from trampling your enemy's units... :P
Especialy BW since they 1-hit anyways...

50% Armor/Attack Leaderships don't stack (with too of the same you only have 50% and not 100%).
But High Level Leaderships (25% armor, experience and attack) do stack.
This only works (as far as I know) in Patch 1.06 of BFME 2

well i think i have read somewhere that highleadership does not stack wiht higleadership. Only wiht 1 of the toher too types.
That you like have 3 types, the high one, that attack one, and the defensive one, and they dont stack with the same type, but do with anohter..
if i was not so lazy i would search for wher i read it and give a link.
but anyays. High wiht High, so for example, elrond(high) with saruman (high)(isengard ally w/h) dont stack. While elrond wiht haldir(attack one, somehwere the good names, idk them)
do stack .

Smae wiht powers...

saurons eye(high), land(def.), warchant(att.), all stakc togehter.
Saurons eye and darkness(high) do not.

Yes, I've made a little mistake, but I think the only exception with stacking Highleaderships is the same, so EoS + EoS won't work, but Elrond + Tom Bombadil will.

if you want your hero to level up fast(for example you have aragorn and when you want to attack their pikemen they retreat),get the hero to the center of an archer battalion.his is so near to them that he will level up with their help!

always try to vary your strategy, so your never doing the same thing twice, eventually you'll perfect it

but once you perfect it you will do the same over and over because its the best variation? I would think..
