The demo, like BFME1, requires building resources like crazy. Most upgrades are really expensive.
In the demo, there really is little space to produce good resource producers. Hopefully, the game will provide a little more room for expansion. It seems to take too much money to build your castle. Most resources have to be spent on upgrading unit abilities.

really there's a lot of room. You need to expand and conquer. Let's take Harlindon for example. The first thing you want to build if you are dwarves is a Hall of Warriors and a Mine. After that build a few more mines, and get 1 or 2 battalions of guardians, now build your archer range and get 1 or 2 battalions of axe throwers\Men of Dale. Start building mines in the center of the map with one builder, while the other stays at the base. Encircle the map to about midway. This will get you a lot of resources over time. Now build a wall around the main part of your fortress. Once that is ready build a forge works and start upgrading your army!

I have understood that if you build a mine close to another, lets say with a 30 % output, it will only produce 30 % of 24? Do this happen to the mine that was there before aswell? Or do that mine has the same output as when you placed it there from the beginning with perhaps 95 %?
