This forum could be used as help for anyone who has questions on scripting with World Builder. To start it off, I have a question about counters and timers. I can't find where to make them. I've gotten pretty comfortable using World Builder except for that. Can anybody help me with it?

timers and counter basic automaticly create themselfs, you just have to set the timers/counters time/count and then if you x off the scripts and go back into them they will be created.

Thank you guys so much. I can now make the map I've been working on for a little bit. Custom Hero Award Battle is what I'm calling it. As the title suggests, it gives you all of the awards that are possible in one game. When I finish it, I'll post it somewhere. Once again, thank you.

I started making that map finaly, I didn't realise how hard it was going to be exactly. Not that its problem, but spawning about 4000 units from each faction, approximately 24,000 units. To make it harder, goblins have a different number of units per battalion. Anyway, divide the 24,000 units up into stages, each stage with 6 spawn points, and at least 2 battalions at each spawn point, i think i'm in big trouble with making this map.

man for real if you jusat spawn like 20 units it makes out of synch, spawning massive amounts of units on games does not work out well. lag is a big problem in those types of maps, lag also makes out of synch.

I used to play online, but not anymore. That's the simple explanation. I know what out of synch is.

I tested a bunch of units spawning at once online and there wasn't any lag. The person who was testing it with me didn't have any lag either. It is true though that if you get too many units spawning at once it will go out of synch. I'm not to concerned about it though. Thanks for the warning.

Yeah, 10 or even 30 hordes won't do it, but around 50 will, especially if there's a battle.

woops, sorry for the misunderstanding, no, what i ment was that if it is already laggy lets say you make a big map and have lagers on it; and you spawn tons and tons hordes then it will have a high risk of going out of synch. If your map is small (like a gladiator map) then you can spawn tons of hordes. although if your map is big and detailed out of synch will be the fate of the map. let the players build their own armys lol on large detailed maps. :P
