i have followed a tutorial done by EA teaching how to create your own single player map. i believe that it was called basic scripting. but i have no idea how to actually play it. this is so frustrating so any help would be hot!

thanks

If you do everything right, it should show up on the map list like the rest of the maps.

Make sure you've placed start position waypoints for at least two players, and configured them correctly in player settings.

I've made a custom map too, but it doesn't shows up either.
It is in the right map (it is in the same map as my other maps from battle for middle earth2 online) but this is the only map who doesn't show up.
I've made a back-up of my map earlier without trees and rocks and stuff, but that one works.
I hope somebody can help me.
Ps. there isn't a map.ini or a map.str file in it.

Map.ini and map.str have nothing to do, don't worry.
Try making a new map from scratch, empty with just the start positions for two players and proper player config. If that works, compare it with your previously created map to detect the fault.

I have placed all object (about 1600) first in the civilian team, then the outposts and stuff in Neutral and warglairs in creeps.
but it still doesn't shows up.

So you have put TWO waypoints down and selected Player_1_Start and Player_2_Start on each one?And gone edit, edit player list, add skirmish players then saved it in the user maps area?

If you've done all that and it still doesn't come up in the skirmish maps list next to a little hammer then I'm not sure what you could do!

Does my bum look big in this? Stop staring at my face.
