I am a diehard LOTR and BFME fan.

That said I also dislike some things about the game.
Here is a topic for consideration and discussion.

Why is there only one Ring hero for each side.
each faction would have done something different with the ring.

I suggest these changes in a future expansion pack

1.The one ring can only be carried by a hero.
2. I suggest a empowerment kind of system in which you can choose which hero on which you want bestow the ring.
(CAH, Normal Heroes, and Summoned Beasts)

Summoned
If summoned beast is selected you must have the power paid for and ready to use (NOT RECHARGING) When beast is selected the beast loses it "Time Remaining" bar and becomes Permanant until it dies. and the power becomes unusable until the Ring Beast dies

Regardless of which way you use the ring
it should make the changes on the unit you select to carry it.

Automatically reach level 10 till ring is lost.

Recharge Timers cut in half.

Ability effect double in power and duration.
(Fireball would do double damage)
(Blademaster would give +200% instead of +100% and last twice as long)

Melee/Ranged Damage x3

Armor/Health/Sight x3

Heal Rate x2

That sounds awesome. It's very creative. Good job.

Why is there only one Ring hero for each side.
Who else would use the ring?

Especially considering all three evil factions swear allegiance to Sauron, it makes sense for him to be the only one.

Galadriel is a bit of a stretch.

I'd never thought I'd hear myself say this...your ring powers are way too strong for this game.

Let's look at this:
Summoned
If summoned beast is selected you must have the power paid for and ready to use (NOT RECHARGING) When beast is selected the beast loses it "Time Remaining" bar and becomes Permanant until it dies. and the power becomes unusable until the Ring Beast dies
Ok, so if Isengard get's the summoned dragon...you're screwed.
Automatically reach level 10 till ring is lost.
Recharge Timers cut in half.
Ability effect double in power and duration.
(Fireball would do double damage)
(Blademaster would give +200% instead of +100% and last twice as long)
Melee/Ranged Damage x3
Armor/Health/Sight x3
Heal Rate x2
This is insanely overpowered, even for the one ring. Sauron is already a one-man army. We don't need even-more invincible heroes carting the ring around. Let's analyze what happens to a hero, Aragorn for example.

Aragorn has 2400 HP at level 1, 3200 at level 10. He does 400 hero damage at level 1, and 500 at level 10(That means all non hero units take double damage), hero armour (Makes him take half damage of everything, except for magic), his bladmaster lasts 15 seconds and has a 60 second recharge, his Army of the Dead lasts 15 seconds and has a three minute recharge. Athelas has a two minute recharge.

Using your ring effects, Aragorns stats as soon as he gets the ring are:

HP: 9600
Melee damage: 1500
Armour: X3 so basically he now has 28800 HP
Recharge times: Athelas 1 min, Bladmaster 30 secs, Elendil 1 min, AoTD 1 1/2 mins.
Effect times: Bladmaster 30 secs, Elendil, 30 secs, AoTD 30 secs.
Other: Bladmaster +200% Armour and Damage.
Now, with even Bladmaster, Aragorn's damage becomes 4500 and his HP becomes 86400.

This is just for Aragorn. I haven't even looked into the other heroes such as Lurtz, Gandalf, Saruman, Boromir, Thranduil, Legolas, or Elrond. And we ALL know how overpowered Create-a-heroes are.

BUT WAIT!

See the recharge and effect times of Bladmaster? They're the same. You have now effectively rendered Aragorn invincible. He's STRONGER than Sauron! I'm sorry, but I advise you to get your head around understanding balance before suggesting such insanely overpowered buffs.

Well you may be right, but he was just brainstorming ideas. You were kind of harsh.

It doesn't look like he was brainstorming:
