While dark heroes get stupid crap like molotov cocktails oil kegs and cripple strikes, dwarve heroes have powers like mighty earthshaker, great bombard and leap. When you add the natural dwarf health advantage and a power like "toughness", It creates a nearly invulnerable hero who can wipe out entire hordes all by himself.

In the few multiplayers games I played, I've seen those used nearly all the time by Elf, Human or Dwarf players. If the host set the starting resources at 3000, then this hero can be trained right at the beginning and you simply can't train enough troops to ever kill him. All you can do is help levelling him up. If you try to ignore him, then he takes your resources buildings down one by one.

Dwarwen heroes' weakness is that they don't have any good early level powers. At least none that I know if you compare to other heroes. And a dwarwen hero is more for killing units that killing heroes. A decent herokiller will take him down easily.

Pigelin and Paronsplit - da mean killing machine
Or, maybe not...

Yes, Dwarves are excellent against armies but not so good against other heroes unless you get certain powers. I must say though, I love their powers! Especially charge =D

all custom heroes if properly built are overpowered... and firebomb is just as good as leap btw only takes some more skillpoints, while summon reinforcements can be allmost as devastating as bombard.

My top 5 heroes:

1) Wizard (fireball, lightning, blink, AoE kill)
2) MotW tank (leadership, spear throw, reinforcements)
3) Dwarf tank (toughness, bombard, leap, reinforcements)
4) Uruk-hai (firebomb, reinforcements, leadership, fear)
5) Elf hero (archer spec, tornado, leadership)

That is for HvM, not HvH, though spear throw is kinda neat for HvH as well. For HvH i'd say elf hero with max cripple, will own all heroes above.

Just my 2 cents

Gaming is fun though don't forget to socialise IRL ^^

dwarf and motw custom heros are basicly the only ones that stand a chance against the motw spear throw+blademaster

Is it just me or is spear throw amasingly over powered? It can kill about any non level ten CaH hero and about every non-CaH hero at its 3rd level. Plus it recharges quickly. If you make a MOTW CaH with spear throw at lvl 1 or 2 and lvl 3, you can take out a taskmaster very easily without getting hurt to a large degree.

Is sarcasm needed? Showing respect is an important quality.

well any properly made custom hero is overpowered compared to premade heroes or troops, u just have to know how to make em right. i admit spear throw+blademaster+invulnerability is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much powerful abilities for ONE hero, but hopefully ea will (FINALLY) finish their game next patch. also, troll r better than uruks they have 25 points in starting stats, while uruks have 20, and wiht the same abilities. servant of sauron heroes are more based on brute force than tricky crap like elves, dwarves and MotWs and wizards, so they are better against ai that cant use heros properly and in comp stomps. in hero vs hero where you have to level up on troops, (ultimate custom hero arena by clord, hero coliseum by me) they can level up really really fast with proper stats and berzerker rage, unlike elves which need lvl 3 (wirlwind) to level up fast, because monsters such as trolls n mumakils level u up faster than troops and the evil heroes are good at killing them. corrupted men r shitty 4 HvH, they can be used well though to support ur army at the start of a game, coerce effecitvely beats and early rush
