BFME2H's beloved Seraph Kester, due to busyness in real life, has decided to hand in her wings. You can wish her well in this thread. She's been around since the beginning of BFME2H and it is hard to imagine it without her. Angel Aeneas2 will be taking over as site Seraph.

GFW's and 1UP's 2006 Games of the Year

Games for Windows: the Official Magazine, and 1UP have announced their top 10 PC games of 2006. In choosing their selections they sought to trace the "titles and trends that shaped 2K6". Battle for Middle Earth II came in at #7, and was one of just a few RTS games on the list. The entire list and descriptions of all the games can be found in the March issue of Games for Windows.

Having already written a couple of great reviews in the Replays Forum, Smeagolfan24 has been selected to join the ranks of the Replay Reviewers! His gameplay knowledge and advice will be a welcome addition to BFME2 Heaven. You can keep him busy by submitting your replays for review!
Age of Conan

Age of Conan, an MMO, was one of the games available for a preview at the Games for Windows launch event in San Francisco on the 23rd. Jorgen Tharaldsen, Product Director at Funcom, enjoyed telling me of the new gameplay features in Age of Conan so much that I finally stopped him mid-sentence to say, "Hey, let's record this and make a proper interview out of it!" He graciously consented, and you can read the result here!
Games for Windows Live

Microsoft is soon rolling out the PC equivalent to the Xbox Live - Games for Windows Live. Gamers on either PCs or Xbox's can connect and play together - or at least will be able to soon when cross-platform games become more common. I had the opportunity to interview Chee Chew, General Manager of Xbox Live for Windows, at the Games for Windows launch event in San Francisco on January 23rd. Chew discusses Live, Vista, and his hopes for the future of the gaming community. Read the entire interview here!

Interview with Chris Taylor

The upcoming RTS game Supreme Commander went gold January 18th, and its creator, Chris Taylor, was on hand for an interview at the Games for Windows launch event in San Francisco the following week. He talked about his inspiration for the game, some of the special things about it, and possibilities for modding it. The entire interview can be found here!
